All UK Police Forces currently use and have access to IBM software through the Police Digital Service, with the most recent addition of the Digital Garage as part of PDS’s ongoing efforts to help deliver the National Policing Digital Strategy.

What is the Digital Garage?

The Digital Garage uses a methodology to accelerate digital transformation. It helps you generate innovative ideas and equips you with the practices, technologies and expertise to rapidly turn those ideas into business value.  You adopt leading technologies, speed up product development and measure the value of everything you do.

The aim of the Police Digital Garage is to encourage fresh perspectives from across policing organisations about what problems need to be solved and the opportunity to build working technology-enabled solutions in 6-8 weeks. Access to the Digital Garage is available at no extra cost to forces that have signed up to the IBM Access for All Agreement extension (until March 2025). To learn more about IBM’s offering to Police Forces, please visit the IBM Stand or visit ibm.biz/police-uk.

IBM is also working with UK Police Forces on their Automation Delivery Programmes and is hosting a workshop at the Summit on their successes to date.
