Clare Elford is Managing Director of Clue, an investigation and intelligence software platform used across policing, government and the private sector. Clare became interested in data ethics as Clue’s user community have made clear their need for connectivity, automation, and AI to help them deal with increasing amounts of data. Clue is one of a growing number of suppliers to policing who are providing systems with open APIs to promote interoperability. Clare has been a key driver of techUK’s interoperability initiative, and strong supporter of its data standards and data ethics work, speaking earlier this year at techUK’s Data Ethics in Policing webinar.
